Welcome to Stretton Sugwas School

Stretton Sugwas School is a small school, having approximately 100 children on roll. It is situated in the village of Stretton Sugwas approximately 4 miles west of Hereford City Centre, in a country location just outside the city boundary. The school is housed in new accommodation, modelled around the original Victorian buildings. We have four classrooms, activity areas, a library, a computer suite and a spacious hall equipped with a variety of gymnastic equipment.

The school is a caring, well-ordered community, and, as a Church School, we try to promote Christian values - respect and self-respect, love and tolerance. The discipline of the school centres around these values. We seek to treat children as individuals, prepare them to meet the demands of society and to equip them for the next stage in their education.

Notice for parents

If the school is closed due to bad weather there will be an announcement on Radio Wyvern (97.6FM) and BBC Hereford & Worcester (94.7FM)
